Jargon buster

Angle closure glaucoma:  A rarer form of glaucoma that presents with acute angle closer, sudden pain, halos, red eye and very high intraocular pressure.

Aqueous humour:  Clear fluid in the front part of the eye that maintains the pressure in the eye (intraocular pressure). The pressure is normally balanced by fluid draining from the eye and the production of new fluid.
